Bailey
To strengthen our School Wellbeing program and to enhance our school values, ‘A Sense of Belonging’ and ‘Care and Respect’, we are extremely lucky to have the services of Bailey. All of the children at Chrysalis have already met Bailey, a trained therapy dog, who will be visiting our school each morning.

Book Week
Chrysalis celebrated book week with a variety of activities to promote an enjoyment of reading book characters walked the red carpet, a photo booth for fun, an incursion for all focusing on literature, writing & illustration and classic story time.

Sports Carnival 2019 was an amazing day of participation and sportsmanship by all. Thank you everyone who made the day such fun

Biodiversity Project
Artist and biodiversity educator Angela Rossen is currently working with Chrysalis Montessori School to collaboratively create a large painting that reflects the unique plants and animals living in the Glendalough Open Space wetlands, which are adjacent to the school’s grounds.

Harmony Day 2019
This year we started the Harmony Day festivities at the open space next to the school with all children and families. The Singing Club opened the celebration with “I am Australian” in Yawuru language.
We then welcomed the community members from each continent, celebrating the diversity of our community and all the great traditional costumes.

End of Year Concert 2018
The Chrysalis Concert night was extremely impressive with the way in which the children behaved and performed their Edudance routines.
The flow and transition between the concert section of the evening and the graduating student speeches was effortless and smooth.
The graduating students themselves were entertaining and filled with gratitude in their speeches, they are a credit to parents and themselves. We were all inspired by them and very proud of their endeavours.

2018 Harmony Day
Everyone embraced and created a wonderful atmosphere in the celebration of Harmony Day at Chrysalis on March 23

Children's House classes had a great time experiencing working with woodwork tools.

Science Alive Incursion
All Primary classes enjoyed the fun and interactive Science presentation by Mick Doyle from Science Alive

2017 End of Year Concert
The end of year concert was once again a time to appreciate everything that makes chrysalis so special.

2017 Craft Fair
On Friday 10th November, the Chrysalis Community hosted its annual Craft Fair. The staff, parents and children demonstrated their amazing creative talents with a wonderful array of craft stalls.

2017 Cape to Cape
After completing the Bibbulmun Track last year, we walked the southern section of the Cape to Cape Track this year as our graduate rites of passage. We walked over 70 kms between Cape Leeuwin and the Margaret River mouth.

2017 Sports Carnival
We enjoyed a beautiful warm day at our 3rd annual sports Carnival last Friday 15th September. It was a great success... even the 3 year olds ran in the right direction.

ASC
After School Care has had a busy Term 3. They have had a ball with their regular activities and the Out Of School Sci-Tech Chemistry workshops

Lower Primary Camp Landsdale Farm 2017
A lot of fun and adventure was enjoyed at this years camp. We experienced farm animals as well as wild animals at the wildlife centre.

Bibbulmun Track Milestone
During final Term 1 School meeting a representative from The Bibbulmun Track Foundation presented the school with a certificate in celebration for Chrysalis's achievement of completing the 1,003 km Bibbulmun Track over the last 18 years. Recognition for all graduates, families, and staff for making this possible.

Harmony Day 2017
Chrysalis celebrated Harmony Day with a shared long table lunch. Thank you all for sharing in this special celebration of diversity, peace, friendship, community, understanding and equality.

Upper Primary Camp - Rottnest Island 2017
Swordtails and Spitfires traveled the seas for a few days exploring, cycling and swimming on Rottnest Island. Special memories for all.

ASC - Edison Robotics
After School Care Robotics Program held on Tuesday Afternoons in Term 1 was a very enjoyable and successful program for the children attending.

End of Year Concert 2016
The school celebrated the end of the year concert with "Lets Dance". All the students were a stand out with their choreographed and rehearsed group dance performances from each class.

Chrysalis Craft Fair 2016
The many and varied creative talents of the Chrysalis community were on display as the annual craft fair got under way on Friday 11th November.

Athletics Carnival Fun Day 2016
The whole school community at Chrysalis enjoyed a fun and exciting sports carnival on Friday. A great way to spend a day at school.

Bibbulmun Track Oct 2016
The graduating Year 6 students for 2016 completed a total of 65 kms between Dwellingup and North Bannister.

Perth Zoo
Mariposa and Papillon enjoyed a visit to the Perth Zoo on Thursday 8 September.
Lego Challenge - ASC
On Tuesday 6 September Chrysalis After School Care held its first Lego Challenge.
It was such good fun for everyone working on building a motorised models…
The Young Engineers will definitely be back during Term 4!

Winter Solstice Festival 2016
The Chrysalis school community celebrated this year's Winter Solstice Fesitival with the theme 'Makuru' for its performance program presented by all the classes. A wonderful atmosphere was created and the event was enjoyed by all.

Boshack Outback Camp 2016
Mariposa and Papillon classses had a fantastic back to nature 3 day camp at Boshack 90 minutes north of Perth.

New Norcia Camp 2016
Spitfires and Swordtails primary classes enjoyed a wonderful 3 day camp at New Norica this year. All the children had a great time. The best camp ever!

The Bibbulmun Challenge
Our 2015 graduating students recently completed their week-long Bibbulmun Track walk. Our graduates have been walking sections of the track for the past 16 years. In two years our school will have completed the whole 1000km track.

Winter Solstice 2015
Our Winter Solstice Festival was a huge event this year, marking 25 years of Chrysalis Montessori School.
What an amazing day! With lots of photos, stories and memories shared, it couldn't have happened without the enormous support of staff, students, parents and the wider Chrysalis community.

At Work in the Garden
Our permaculture garden is where all our school food waste ends up - it's a crucial part of our school's sustainability focus.
Recently wee had a big delivery of compost so our upper primary students went to work, spreading it over our newly planted autumn vegetables.

Craft Fair
Our Chrysalis craft fair was again a fabulous display of colour, creativity and talent!
This annual event provides students with an opportunity to exercise some of their creative talents -- and pick up some important business skills at the same time.
All our stallholders submit a business plan, factoring in costs and overheads, with the aim of turning a profit.
Chrysalis Soup Kitchen
Our students were up bright and early for a special appearance on Channel 9 to talk soup!
The Chrysalis soup kitchen has been raising money for youth homeless charity Youth Futures.
The fundraising effort was spearheaded by our Swordtails student Ava, and has been a big hit, raising over $600 for the charity.
