In 2002 a group of parents laid plans for a safer and more holistic environment in the playground, which is now complete. The playground was designed by Bernhard Kaiser and his dedication to providing our community with a playground which is full of grace, love and excitement is evident.

From two of our Spitfires students:

Chrysalis is very lucky to have such a wonderful playground that inspires the kids so much. We have many different types of equipment that gives and encourages the children to learn how to do new things in a fun way.

Some of our fantastic features include our musical playhouse, which helps the children to use their creativity and music abilities. We also have other features that help the children to use their physical abilities like the climbing wall, the flying fox and the water feature.

The playground represents a great opportunity to encourage all the children to put their skills and abilities to work in a fun and safe environment.

The children have drawn up their own ‘playground charter’ to ensure the playground is a fun and safe place for all to play.
